About Copenhagen Irish Set Dancers
Irish set dancing was introduced to Denmark in 1987 when the first of a whole row of workshops, given by Irish instructors, was held. In 1993 the interest had grown to such an extent that we founded Copenhagen Irish Set Dancers.
Copenhagen Irish Set Dancers meet every Monday at "Skolen på Nyelandsvej", Nyelandsvej 23, Frederiksberg.
Old Style Step is being taught from 18.00 to 19.00
Set Dance from 19.15 to 21.15
Our most experienced dancers are our teachers and they go to Ireland as often as possible to participate in dance courses and to get inspiration.
The dance season starts the second Monday in September and ends towards the end of May.
Membership fee DKK 1,000 for the entire season, which runs from September to May.
